Rock, Snow, Clouds, Trees, and Very Few Words I took a walk yesterday with friends in Grand Teton National Park. Along the way I composed a blog post with some historical notes about this, one of the grandest mountain-scapes in the entire world. Then I began editing my photos for this post, and I find myself speechless. And so I will let these images speak for themselves, allowing myself only this short phrase from Henry David Thoreau: "In wildness is the preservation of the world."
